Whipped Coffee (Dalgona Coffee)

Whipped coffee had made a famous re-apparition on social media under the name “Dalgona Coffee” To realize this beverage, you will need simple and affordable ingredients. You are probably using them everyday as of now. This hyper class coffee from your kitchen!! Who would not want it? It is so creamy and delicious. I can drink it everyday, because it also works well with decaffeinated coffee. All you need is instant coffee, warm water and sugar for the coffee cream. All the parts must be equal and you just whip. Then you serve on milk or even water. For the milk you can choose any kind that suit your diet but personally, I use almond milk over ice. Your milk can also be warm if you prefer.

  • 1 whip


  • 2 tbsp instant coffee
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp warm water
  • 1 cup milk
  • Ice cubes


  • Into a bowl, mix coffee and sugar.
  • Add water, and start whipping.
  • Whip for 5 minutes until you get a foam.
  • Into a glass put the ice cubes, and milk.
  • Put the coffee cream on top of the milk.

I you do not have a whip, you can use a fork. It works the same but takes longer.

For the warm version simply just use hot milk and of course there won’t be any ice. The cream can be put before the milk or on top. You can also sprinkle cocoa powder on top. The warm version made me think of a cappuccino. My sister likes to add sugar to her milk, me I prefer it as it is. Try it, tag me so I can repost ?.
