Date is a fruit that I really did not like while growing up. I was constraint to eat it because it was healthy. Growing up I preferred anything salty to sweet, what a weird kid right. Hahaha. I did not have a problem eating sweet fruits, but this one was too sweet for me at the time. I tried to avoid it as much as I could back then. The dates have so many benefits. They are rich on fibers, help with digestion, and relieve from constipation. They contains copper, zinc, iron (recommended for people suffering from anemia), potassium, magnesium, and calcium. They also have vitamins such as C, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, E, A1 , and K. Dates are rich in proteins, burn fat and fight tiredness. Date have so many benefits and have to be included into the diet. I decided to experiment dates differently, on a milkshake. Milkshake is a drink made with milk like the name suggests and the ingredients are vigorously mixed to get a creamy drink.

- 4 tbsp sugar
- 7 oz ice
